JBC Tools Soldering Equipment: Compact Line Soldering Stations

JBC Soldering Stations - Top Quality Soldering

What can you expect from top quality soldering stations like the JBC Tools range? Among the solder industry, JBC Tools is known to manufacture the leading, high-technology stations. JBC Stations will reach 662 degrees Fahrenheit (350 degrees Celcius) in only two seconds. JBC soldering stations work with the JBC exclusive heating system, which recovers tip temperature extremely quickly. This in turn, increases work efficiency and allows the user to work with lower temperatures. Additionally, stations feature a useful sleep and hibernation mode which drop the temperature when the tool is not in use. This feature is not only useful, but also resourceful as the soldering tip life will last up to 5 times longer. Depending upon the application you require, users can choose from over 400 models of cartridges. Each cartridge varies in shape and size; which ensures an efficient temperature control and performance. Speaking of cartridges, JBC Tools stations feature a "quick extractor" which allows the operator to change cartridges more efficiently and safely. Users love this feature because it saves them time and increases productivity.

The station is designed to suit the operators work position and the anti-splash membrane prevents solar particles on the work area, keeping in clean. Finally, the JBC system allows you to configure and manage your stations remotely. On a computer desktop, users can update the stations software, create graphs of the soldering process, and manage your monitor to a maximum of 20 personalized parameters.

But What's the Difference Between JBC Tools Compact Soldering Stations?

The JBC Compact Line features six soldering stations all of which are designed to work with one handpiece. The Compact Line includes three soldering stations: the JBC CD-1SE, CD-1BE and CA-1E. As well as three rework stations: JBC CP-1E, CV-1E, and CS-9E. But please note, these numbers are constantly changing, so it's important to check back often, as our team at Janel is continually doing our best to update our JBC customers of the latest changes and improvements to the JBC brand.

JBC CD-1SE
The CD-S is a soldering station for precision electronic applications. It works with the lightest and most ergonomic soldering iron, the T210 (which uses all T210 cartridges). Additionally, users can connect any T245 hand piece to the C245 cartridge range.

Get Rid of Unwanted Static Electricity with ACL Staticide Anti-Stat Static Control Spray

Tired of unwanted static electricity? We have the solution. ACL Anti-Static Sprays. Depending upon the surface that you're trying to reduce static electricity on, depends on the ACL Staticide Inc. formula. Today in this blog post we will discuss two brilliant formulas: General Purpose Staticide and Heavy Duty Staticide.

General Purpose Staticide Spray ACL 2003

ACL 2003 is general purpose Staticide.  This anti-static spray is the perfect solution for non-porous surfaces, or surfaces made of clear high gloss materials. This static control spray can be used on all work surfaces, trays, tote bags, PC boards, plastics, dip tubes, components, storage bins, carriers, packaging, film, and hard floors.

Heavy Duty Staticide Spray ACL 2005

ACL 2005 is the long lasting solution for high friction and high porous surfaces surfaces. Staticide can be applied by spraying, wiping, dipping, transfer roller coating, graveur coating or flexographic printing. ACL 2003 features a trigger sprayer, making it easy to apply to static electric prone surfaces. It is a proprietary water-based formula consisting of several quaternary compounds. The heavy duty spray is specifically used for treating carpets, chairs, clothing, conveyor belts, totes and work surfaces with heavy use. Every Staticide topical solution is proven to be effective in relative humidity below 15 percent. If material is porous or absorbent, use Regular Heavy Duty ACL 2005.

Customers love and I mean, LOVE this stuff. In an online review from February 23, 2015, a customer explained her static control experience, "I struggle with static build-up on my office chair... it's a fabric covered seat... and after awhile my sliding on and off the chair, a strong static charge is created. This stuff is magic - just a few squirts and spread evenly around with a paper towel, and viola no more static for at least a month! The smell is basically non-existent and it doesn't leave a residue like those aerosol static releasers tend to do."

Other customers have explained, that a little bit goes a long way. Which is great, because you can save so much in comparison to brands such as Static Guard.

Check it out today at Janel Inc. | Janel Online - an authorized distributor of ACL Staticide Inc. products. We specialize in ESD, anti-static products and materials.

Dear Valued Kester Solder Customers,

Ch-ch-ch-changes!

On August 1st, Janel received notice of a change to the packaging quantities of Kester EM828 Solder Paste in cartridges to 500 grams. Traditionally, cartridges have contained 600 grams of material. However, for this particular water soluble paste, the volume of 600 grams is near capacity of the cartridge. In some cases, this has caused issues with the plunger and cap replacement. Both Kester Solder and Janel, Inc. | Janel Online continually strive to maintain the delivery of quality items to our customers and to improve upon our efforts, Kester has decided to change the cartridge quantity to 500 grams of material.

To minimize disruption to our customer base, the quantity in the cartridge is the only change. The EM828 raw materials, manufacturing process, and cartridge remain the same. Below we have provided the summary of changes of the part numbers, which will be implemented to avoid confusion in the future. Please note, during this change, the price per gram of material will remain the same. However, one box will not contain 5kg and one carton will now be 20 kg.

The change will be implemented by Kester on October 1, 2016; when the old part numbers will no longer be available. For the replacement part numbers, please see the information provided below.

Kester 7004030811 will become Kester 7004030823

Thermaltronics Soldering Stations and Curie Heat Technology: The Latest Technology in Hand Soldering

Today’s soldering processes are rapidly shifting. In the past decade, lead-free solder has been introduced and soldering components are continuing to decrease in size. Today, users no longer have to adjust heating temperatures of their soldering irons; thereby, burning the flux in their solder wire before having the chance to help the flow of solder (leading to poor solder joint quality, reduction in tip life, and increased chances of oxidization). Today, Thermaltronics has responded to the rapidly changing soldering industry, and old, conventional ceramic heating element technology is slowly fading. Curie Heat Technology is the solution. Thermaltronics Curie Heat Technology, “utilizes induction heating to bring the temperature to its Curie Point, which is set by the composition of the alloy. Once it hits Curie Point, the tip will lose its’ magnetic properties and idle at its set point ready for action. A phenomenon known as Skin Effect results in the heat being confined to the outer layer of the tip (heating from the outside/in) as opposed to conventional ceramic heating which is from the inside/out. Once the soldering tip makes contact with the solder joint, the tip will transfer heat across at a rapid rate and the solder joint will attempt to draw temperature away from the tip. Once the tip temperature starts to fall below its Curie Point temperature the tip realizes this and instantaneously regains its magnetic properties, the induction heating process starts again and keeps the tip at the stable temperature required,” (Thermaltronics, 2016).

The aforementioned scenario, is why Curie Heat responds faster than conventional ceramic heating technology, which uses tip, sensor, and ceramic heating elements.
This one step process is the main reason why Curie Heat responds faster than conventional ceramic heating technology. Additionally, traditional ceramic heating technology tends to be a longer process, as sensors detect a reduction in temperature and then communicates with the heating element, which then attempts to reheat the tip.

Curie Heat Technology has many benefits across a wide spectrum for hand soldering jobs such as fine surface mount work (such as mobile devices and laptop devices).

Get your hands on the Thermaltronics 13.56MHz soldering systems, such as TMT-9000S-1 (100-110 VAC) or TMT 9000S-2 (220-240 VAC), and discover the difference between innovation with Curie Heat Technology and out-dated, conventional ceramic heating soldering systems.

Key features of the Thermaltronics TMT-9000s soldering stations include:

At Janel Online, we can’t get enough of Thermaltronics 9000’s soldering stations. From experience in talking to many of our customers, the setup of these soldering station suites, are quite different compared to traditional soldering irons and stations. The reason being, there are no adjustments for temperature, as all of the temperature controlled application is based on the thermal load demands within the soldering cartridge’s temperature range.

Main Power Unit: Enclosure is entirely metal and includes heat-sinking integrated into the chassis. The front of the unit includes a dual row display on an LCD screen. Information on the LCD, displays information such as the current thermal load. Additionally, the Thermaltronics 9000 features 2 output switches for multiple configurations.

The Soldering Handpiece: The silicone wire for the power supply is very agile and has a nice length. Additionally the changing of tips is exceptionally simple, as there is no locking ring. Tips effortlessly slide in and out of the barrel and secure at the base. Users find the connection to be exceptional.

The Soldering Base Stand: While putting the soldering iron in the soldering iron’s stand, one will find it to be very secure, with minimal movement.

Operation: Users believe how this machine operates is the determining factor for picking this station. From turning on the station, the tips heat up immediately, the LCD display constantly updates the user on the status of thermal loading. It performs exceptionally well regardless of the job (small SMD work, to large through hold jobs)

For more information regarding the TMT-9000’s please don’t hesitate to contact us. Alternatively, you can visit the following product pages:
